R3 and RII Technical Event - Cross Border Insolvency

It was a real pleasure to host the first joint event between R3 Association of Business Recovery Professionals and Restructuring & Insolvency Ireland in Belfast last night, exploring the legal and practical challenges of cross-border insolvency.

It was fantastic to welcome our RII colleagues to Belfast. This is hopefully the start of a closer relationship between our two organisations.

Excellent panellists on the day were Kathryn Kavanagh (Rice), kevin morgan, Ruadhán Ó Ciaráin and Seamas Keating who shared their experience and insights on topical issues such as cross-border recognition and COMI, along with some great practical advice on dealing with assets and creditors in another jurisdiction.
