R3 Northern Ireland Half Day Forum 2026

A really positive and engaging R3 Association of Business Recovery Professionals Northern Ireland Half Day Forum yesterday at the iconic The Merchant Hotel Belfast.

We as a firm are incredibly proud that Scott Murray has been trusted with the role of Chair of R3 Northern Ireland – there is no doubt he will do the role justice and represent the local restructuring and insolvency profession impeccably. Yesterday’s event was a great way to kick off his tenure!

The packed half day session included:
- An economic update from Danske Bank’s Chief Economist, Conor Lambe.
- A discussion on intellectual property in insolvency cases from Ian Davison (Keenan CF), Emily Muir (Gordon Brothers) and Paul Eastwood (Tughans).
- An update on the potential for litigation funding and assignment of claims in insolvency from Sam Corbett (A&L Goodbody) and Andrew Cawkwell (Manolete Partners); and
- A lively discussion on the challenges navigating the different generations in the modern workplace from MCO Performance.
