Chris McNeill
Senior Manager

Chris is a Senior Manager within the Corporate Restructuring team. Chris prides himself on his agility and proactivity, providing tailored advice and solutions to distressed businesses, financial institutions and wider stakeholders, whether that be in respect of a formal insolvency process or not. Chris has been involved in high profile insolvency and restructuring appointments in NI and GB, with significant experience across the full spectrum of appointment types across a variety of sectors. In addition to formal appointments, Chris has advisory experience in carrying out independent business reviews for financial institutions as well as strategic options appraisals for local businesses.

Chris’ accreditations include being a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, and a First Class Honours degree in Finance from Queen’s University, Belfast. A recent highlight includes taking home first place in the UK in the 2024 sitting of the Joint Insolvency Examinaton Board (JIEB) Personal Exam. Chris joined the firm from PwC LLP.

Outside of work Chris loves to travel as often as possible and spend time with his wife, family and friends. Weekends are often spent playing or watching almost any sport going, whilst grumbling as to the reasons why he cruelly didn’t quite make it as a professional footballer.
