Tom Keenan

Tom is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner and authorised by the FSA to conduct designated investment business. He has over 25 years of corporate finance experience and in that period has advised on many high profile acquisitions and disposals and been appointed to some of Northern Ireland’s largest insolvency cases.

Tom leads our client services providing hands on practical advice throughout all stages of a project.

Scott Murray

Scott is a Director in our Corporate Insolvency and Re-Structuring team where he has a considerable wealth of experience managing some of our largest and most complex assignments.

Scott works with all the local Banks and Secured Lenders across a broad range of spectrum including Investment Property, Residential Development Sites and Land Banks. Managing a portfolio in excess of £600 million of Borrowings Scott is working closely with key stakeholders to maximise capital value.

Scott has a number of accreditations including being a Licenced Insolvency Practitioner, a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, an FSA approved person, a Member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals and a BSc in Accounting from Queens University Belfast.

Donall Regan

Donall is a Chartered Accountant with over 5 years post qualification experience and is also a licensed Insolvency Practitioner. He joined Keenan CF from Pricewaterhousecoopers Business Recovery department where he worked for four years. Whilst working there he gained a breadth of experience across a variety of engagements and since joining Keenan CF has continued to build on his extensive local experience dealing with Corporate Restructuring, Independent Business Reviews, business plans and formal insolvency appointments.

Donall is currently managing a number of Corporate Enforcements for a number of local Banks and Investment funds. With borrowings in excess of £200 million Donall is managing a large portfolio of investment and development assets with a view to maximising the proceeds of sale.

Donall has also been responsible for a number of Advisory projects involving re-structuring of large Corporate Entities as well as providing advice to a number of local banks in the completion of Independent Business Reviews.

Paul Prenter

Paul is head of our corporate finance advisory team. He has significant international experience of introducing, leading and executing corporate transactions in a CF advisory role and having completed numerous corporate acquisitions in industry.

Paul specialises in acquisition, disposal and fundraising engagements, and provides expert advice on business valuations, capital structure and business planning.

Paul holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Finance from Queens University Belfast, is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland, and an avid sportsman turned sportsfan.

Emma-Louise Gilroy

Emma-Louise has a BCs (Hons) in Accounting from Queens University Belfast and a MSc (Hons) in Advanced Accounting from University of Ulster. Emma-Louise is a Chartered Accountant having trained with PwC.

Emma-Louise works in our Corporate Finance Advisory team. Emma-Louise has experience across a range of corporate finance services including financial modelling, corporate acquisitions and disposals, finance raising, preparation of business plans and financial due diligence. She has worked with a variety of clients from fast-growing start-ups to large corporates and global investment banks.

Thomas McKenna

Thomas joined Keenan CF having previously trained with KPMG Belfast and then moved to the Insolvency Service where he acted as Deputy Official Receiver for 5 years. During that time he oversaw the investigation and Administration of Bankruptcy and Compulsory Winding Up cases in Northern Ireland.

Thomas has managed some of the major bankruptcy cases in Northern Ireland in recent years and provided strategic advice to creditors in pre and post enforcement scenarios. Thomas has also developed Keenan CF as one of the foremost firms for personal debt advice in the province.

Sophie Currie

Sophie holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Finance from Queens University Belfast and is currently studying towards becoming a fully qualified chartered accountant with ICAI. Sophie joined the Keenan CF team in January 2012.

Sophie has gained experience in all aspects of Insolvency but mainly specialises in Personal Insolvency. Sophie is responsible for all asset tracing assignments within Keenan CF and has significant experience in searching local, national and international databases.

Corrinne O’Prey

Corrinne graduated in 2013 from Queens University Belfast having studied joint Economics and Accounting. She joined Keenan CF in January 2015 from a Big 4 firm where she worked as a Business Analyst. Corrinne now works in the firm’s personal insolvency team and is a student of the Chartered Accountants Ireland. .
